I have the most horrible problem with not being able to remember things. So what I do is fold up a blank piece of paper and put it in my purse. It seems that even if it doesn't say anything it helps me remember what I need to do. What do you guys do to help yourself remember today's to-do list?
I write down what needs to be done and mark whatever I get accomplished off the list as I got along. I one of them persons who'll get more than one thing going at once and if I don't write anything down my brain is doomed on remebering whatever it was.
Lists are a great way for me to organize tasks that need to be done. However, if it's a phrase I need to remember, or something that has a long title to it, I use a pneumonic device. Like remember when you were in school, and had to remember the various kinds of arithmetic? Parentheses, exponents, multiply, divide, add, subtract? Our pneumonic device was "Please excuse my dear Aunt Sally." Yes, weird, I know, but it works.
Along the same lines, I use acronyms. The group we all know that is the most famous for this kind of thing is NASA. Heck, even there name is an acronym! Those guys have more acronyms than I've ever seen anyone use, and I've been to space camp three times! It's pretty wild. So, aside from lists to organize, these are the two big ways I remember stuff.
All the suggestions so far are good. If you have a program like Microsoft Outlook, I'd suggest using the task manager. You can set it up so that the tasks you have to do appear when the program comes up. As a person who is horribly disorganized, I just started using it a couple weeks ago. I'm still not getting everything done I want to do, but I'm getting better. I see that list in my mind, and it keeps me focused when I sit down at my desk at work.

I need to try the Microsoft Outlook Task Manager thing. *smile*
As for me, I write things down in Braille so that I can always reread when I need to and/or make documents with lists and store them on a specific disk/storage thing. Also, I've recently started saving documents to my BrailleNote so I can carry them around with me and refer back to them. For to-do lists, I try to keep a document with due dates of things and delete them after I do them and/or when the date has passed.
If I think of something during the work day that I need to do when I get home, I send myself an e-mail to my home e-mail address since I usually check my e-mail as soon as I get home. And, same goes if I'm at home and think of something I need to do the next day at work. If my computer is on I send myself a reminder to my work e-mail. If the computer is not on, I go to the phone and leave a voice mail for myself on my office extension. I also write notes to myself on my Braille 'n Speak. Often just the act of writing something down plants it more firmly in my brain.
if i think of something and i don't want to forget. i ask my husband to remind. me. heheheh don't always work though. hehehehe
I just key what I need to remember in to my mobile or record it on my dictaphone.
If you have a BrailleNote, it has a really good planner in there. I also use that to organized tasks.
Every night before I go to bed, I go over the list of things I need to do the following day in my head. If something new comes up, I'll make a mental note of it. I hope I have a notetaker soon.
